Adam "Tank" Miller
I started doing artwork as a child and was very active in
art and traditional drafting throughout high school. After
graduation, l joined the military and served at Fort
Polk, Louisiana. |

I received
the nickname "Tank" upon discovering computer bulletin board
systems in 1991. I was given this name because I was an
armor crewmember (tanker) fresh out of the Army. This
nickname followed me to the Internet and now there are
several people who only know me as "Tank". I have carried it
to my artwork to differentiate myself from other artists.
I have been working in the computer industry for the last 11
years and I found myself using my art and computer skills to
create departmental web pages, posters, T-shirt designs and
graphics for applications.
I recently completed my Associates of Science degree in
Graphic Design at North Harris College. I graduated Summa
Cum Laude.
During college, I had to take classes that dealt with
drawing and painting and I remembered how much I enjoyed
working directly with my hands. There is a sense of
accomplishment that I receive from creating something with
my hands that I don't get elsewhere.
Hence, TexasMural.com was created. |
