JKS Quicker Disconnects
-----------------------
My particular suspension kit did not come with front disconnects.
Well after finding out how well my Jeep flexed and wheeled off-road
I ended up unbolting and re-bolting my front end every time I hit
the dirt.
I ordered the JKS quicker dis-connects knowing they required welding
but the design looked good. I think they could have made it better
by utilizing the connect on the spring perch. ut it's not too bad.
One thing that I noticed is that my disconnects loosen up after a
week or so of running. I'm not sure what causes this but it gets
annoying.
One thing is for sure, It is a piece of cake to remove and install
these disconnects when you are ready.
However, In hindsight, I probably should have saved my money. If you
have decent leaf springs on a YJ it seems you can just run without a
front sway bar. I have done plenty of highway driving at this point
and can't seem to tell the difference.
